One of our twin moms from No Cal was in So Cal this week. Of course, we arranged a meet up. First and foremost on all our minds is Tuesday. We took a pic with a message and will send it to her. I hope she likes it.
As mentioned in my previous post, Tuesday mom - JK, started Will Play For Food. I took the name and changed it to Will Pray For Tuesday.
Of course a lovely day in So Cal wouldn't have been complete without an earthquake. One of the moms attributed it to all the rockin' mom and their twins.
We all had a great time, it's so nice to meet up with these women who I've known since we were all pregnant. Now our babies aren't babies any more, but busy toddlers keeping us on our toes.
There's no way we'll be able to do this type of picture again, at least not for a really long time!

WPFF - Will Play For Food
Prior to her daughter getting sick, Tuesday's mom JK, had a brilliant idea. Combine a play date with a food drive - Will Play For Food. Did you know food banks all over are having major shortages? So she thought "Help your kids make a difference and come play with a purpose." Yea, she's that kind of gal.
So the women from our twin group started hosting their own events. Jenn P hosted one in NC and then Tonya & Shannon hosted one in San Diego last weekend. There may be more events in the future. If you're interested, feel free to send me an email and I'll make sure you get filled in. In the meantime, here are some pics from Saturday's WPFF. Unfortunately, there was a huge amount of traffic and by the time we got there it was only the hard core twinsters left.

Sweet Tuesday
Here's Tuesday tearing up the oncology play room. This was taken last night. She's such a gorgeous little girl, inside and out.
It's been awhile since my last post. I have to admit, I've been getting lazy about it. Now that the kids are so mobile, it's difficult to find time to sit down and sort thru pics, type something up or edit a video clip.
However, I'm motivated by a beautiful little girl named Tuesday. Tuesday is the daughter of a good friend, JK. I've never met JK in person, but we belong to a twin group and we've exchanged stories, pictures and videos of our families and confided to one another. We've shared our good news and vented our frustrations to the board and we've all been there for each other.
So now, our group is rallying around Tuesday who was diagnosed with cancer. She's in Stage 4 with Neuroblastoma. She's a very sick little girl and JK is asking for prayers. We're praying Tuesday gets well very soon. We're praying for Tuesday's twin sister, who is missing her sister. We're praying for her older brothers who miss their sister and their parents. And we're praying for JK and her husband to have strength, support and faith to get them through this difficult time.
Our group has been brainstorming what we can do to help this amazing family. I have to admit, we've come up with some wonderful ideas. My favorite is having each member of the group pick a week to send a care package to the family. We're scheduling it so it arrives on a Tuesday. Because of how many wonderful women we have in our board, my week isn't until Thanksgiving! If you'd like to help or make a donation to Tuesday's fund, please click on the link on the left side of this page. We just want to do all we can for Tuesday and her family.
