Birthday wish from Debi

My dear friend, Debi, whom I've never met made this for the babies' birthday. She's part of a wonderful group of twin moms I met online. She's done this for all the other babies so far, over 60 sets of twins! Thank you Debi!

One year ago today...

It’s hard to believe a year ago today, I was counting down the hours until my scheduled c-section. I’d had an amnio done earlier in the day to determine the babies were ready to come out. Even though they were 2 days shy of 36 weeks, they were fully baked. I think they were more ready than me and Mike. I’d focused on keeping them inside for so long, I didn’t think about them actually being here. A part of me, didn’t allow myself to dream that far because of what happened with Matty & Issy. But now a year later, here they are. Being a parent to Luke & Bree has been the most rewarding, most difficult, most amazing year of my life. It took us a long while to get here, but it’s so worth it.

Ah geez, I've been tagged

I’m taking a little break to being ‘tagged’ by my friend Debi. I don’t normally do this type of thing, but since I was singled out I feel I must. In a way it’s kinda fun. How many of you remember signing Slam Books in junior high/middle school?

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
