Since it's Tuesday, I wanted to start with some Tuesday news. Good news - she's doing well and gotten off the vent AND graduated from the PICU unit. For more information, please check out her mom's blog. Also, Sharlene (from our twin moms group), was able to visit Tuesday's family to help out. She has a great recap of her visit on her blog. Seems like our prayers are being answered. Yay!
This is a little late, but I did want to post about our recent trip to LEGOLAND. Unlike Disneyland last year, the kids had a great time. I think it's a combination of them being older and an ultra toddler-friendly park which helped. There was lots for them to do, touch and explore. There were even a few rides which they enjoyed, they just hated waiting in line (who doesn't).

Our first Lego greeter, Bob the Builder.
Inside the Imagination Zone. Kids had a blast here, they had Legos pieces as big as their heads.
Luke standing in front of MiniLand USA. Its a replication of seven regions of the US, made with 20 million LEGO bricks in 1:20 scale.
Bree loved riding on the train. I think she felt like a big kid. But she cried when the ride was over and she had to get off.
Future fire truck driver.
Luke also digging the train ride.
Here's a brief video of a boat ride. I love the kids' expressions. We had fun getting the kids excited. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
btw, did you know Legos were created in Denmark? I'd just assumed it was American, isn't that presumptuous of me. Typical American :-)

So cute. It was fun to get a report card on LL. And wonderful to get a little update about Tuesday.
Isn't it so great that Tuesday has made such drastic improvements this past week?!?! Legoland looks awesome!!! I hope we are able to go there when we go to Disneyland. Can hardly believe how big Luke and Bree are getting!!
I am an absolute Lego fan - have been since childhood. I think I will have a blast in Legoland, never mind the kids.
I love al the pictures and the video, what a great place to take the kids
Legoland, we are so going there SOON, before I have to pay for them. However, I'm guess that is the first place we are buying annual pass.

So cute to see the kids being so big and riding on rides.
I don't know. I like Mommy's excited expressions even more than the kids. So here is what pervented me from going to Legoland thus far- the cost. Are kids free under a certain age because I remember being shocked at how pricey it was.
Wow, I didn't realize there was so much for the little ones to do there! I guess when I heard of Legoland, I just thought "big kids only"! We'll definitely have to check that out soon! Looks like you all had a great time!
Since my boy is obsessed with Legos, we went there last year. It was a lot of fun and the Lego creations were amazing. One word of caution, though -- try to go on a Saturday or during the summer. We went during the school year on a week day (thinking it would be less crowded) and half the park was closed for school field trips.
We missed the imagination zone and the boat ride when we were there. Seems to me that's a reason I need to get back there.
What a fabulous day. Legoland is so much fun.
